The Most Interesting, Funny and Entertaining Videos on the Web
69I have compiled a list of some of the most innovative and inspired videographers on the web. It is by no means exhaustive, but I believe it gives you a taste of some of the most original and entertaining content available on the internet.
What is a vlog?
Some of these videos could be considered “vlogs.” If this is a new term for you, it just means “video blog.” Blogs traditionally involve written material, and can either be based on the news or on personal experience.
Video blogs can be based on current events as well, but often focus on personal experience. The most entertaining vlogs, however, are the ones that use the video format itself as an artistic vessel in which to deliver their content.
Natalie Tran
For example, some vloggers use special effects to make their point. When Natalie Tran talks to herself in her videos, she doesn’t just talk to herself. She literally duplicates and triplicates herself on the screen, usually for humorous effect. When this technique is skillfully used to underscore a personal, human point of view, a connection is made by the viewer with the vlogger that can go beyond mere textual blogging.
Natalie's videos are listed under the heading "CommunityChannel" on YouTube

Some Vloggers have gathered humongous followings. There are vloggers who have more viewers than some cable tv shows. These individuals have a far-reaching influence, and an opportunity to raise awareness about important issues, in addition to their primary aim of being entertaining. Vloggers are generally interested in creating a sense of community, where people talk about important issues and learn about different ways of looking at things.
Vlogbrothers
That’s why I like the vlogbrothers so much. John and Hank Green are brothers. One is a published and award-winning author of young-adult fiction. The other is a musician with his own (very cool) record label, DFTBA Records. DFTBA stand for Don’t Forget to Be Awesome. The following is one of John's videos (which is addressed to Hank, because technically they are vlogging to each other).
Molly Lewis
One musician that Hank has signed to DFTBA is Molly Lewis. Molly plays the ukulele, and has a sweet, soulful sound. Though she sometimes sings about silly things, there is clearly a heart behind her music. This is my favorite songs of hers, “My Hope.”

Barely Political
Barely Political is another extremely entertaining YouTube channel, comprising many funny videos. Don’t be put off by the name, a lot of the humor has nothing to do with politics. I have included some of my favorites here, but you should really go on over and watch more. Videos are in the side-bar.

Imaginary Bitches
For my last inclusion, I have saved a bit of a guilty pleasure. It’s a web-series (an ongoing narrative) comprised of 13 five-minute-ish long episodes. The series centers around a woman who develops imaginary friends. The amusing part is that her imaginary friends turn out to be total bitches. This is definitely worth checking out.
You can watch the first episode directly below, or you can see a list of all the episodes (in high resolution) at imaginarybitches.com.

I hope you found these videos enjoyable. And it is not necesary to give me credit when you pass them along to your friends. Enjoy!

WOW, Adam! I was browsing the vlogs here but the only way I found to get Molly Lewis STOPPED was to leave and come back in! The girl has determination! LOL.
Rememeber when they first started talking about blogs? A few adventurous souls I knew started them and they were really good.
